About the event

All proceeds of this event will go towards Support Creativity.

So women are at the beginning of building a language, and not all women are conscious of it.

- Judy Chicago

Inspired by Judy Chicago’s 1979 feminist piece called ‘The Dinner Party’, this event is a celebration of womanhood, self-reflection, and expression of humanism. We will create a modern interpretation of the ‘The Dinner Party’ while enjoying the company of an eclectic group of human beings from all walks of life. Each guest will paint their own plate, signifying their perspective and ideology of what feminine energy means today.

Guests will go home with their very own masterpiece (a plate with acrylic paint), displaying their idea of feminine energy, feminism/womanism, or whatever they are feeling that day.

All human beings are welcomed!

We will have alcoholic beverages and snacks for sale by New Women Space.

Michelle and Philip took over as the guardians of New Women Space for 2020. They usher in a new, fresh and dynamic era. Maintaining the principles by which New Women Space was founded and growing it to meet the new challenges of today with their own look and feel applied to the whole of the space.
